Question 1

What is Ive?

Accepted Answer

Ive is an AI app builder for Flutter mobile apps. You chat to describe features and UI; Ive writes Dart code, compiles a Flutter Web build, and shows a live phone preview you can iterate on until you are ready to ship.

Question 2

What kind of apps does Ive build?

Accepted Answer

Ive builds Flutter mobile applications — consumer apps, dashboards, booking flows, ecommerce, finance, food delivery, and custom apps from scratch. Output is standard Flutter/Dart source you can export and continue in Android Studio or VS Code.

Question 3

Does Ive generate real code or just designs?

Accepted Answer

Real code. Ive produces a multi-file Flutter project, runs the compiler, and only promotes previews that pass analyze/build checks. It is not a mockup or screenshot tool.

Question 4

How is Ive different from v0 or Lovable?

Accepted Answer

v0 and Lovable focus on React/Next.js web apps. Ive focuses on Flutter mobile apps with a built-in compile pipeline and live simulator preview — closer to shipping an iOS/Android codebase than a marketing site.

Question 5

How is Ive different from FlutterFlow?

Accepted Answer

FlutterFlow is a visual, drag-and-drop Flutter builder. Ive is chat-first: you describe changes in natural language and receive editable source files with AI-assisted iteration.

Question 6

Can I start from a template?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ive offers starter categories (ecommerce, food delivery, finance, booking, blank) and a community template gallery at ivelabs.dev where you can remix published apps.

Question 7

Is Ive free?

Accepted Answer

Ive has a free tier to try generation and preview. Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Premium) add higher generation limits, priority models, and production-oriented features. See ivelabs.dev after sign-up for current pricing.

Question 8

Where is Ive available?

Accepted Answer

Ive is a web app at https://www.ivelabs.dev — sign up, create a project, and build from your browser.
